JMac delivers 22.5 hectares of vibrant community space with Robina Greenheart Stage 1 completion

JMac Constructions has successfully completed the Robina Greenheart – Stage 1 Parklands, a $25 million development for City of Gold Coast that has transformed 22.5 hectares of underutilised land into vibrant community space.

Drawing on broad capabilities and extensive experience, JMac has delivered a diverse range of recreational facilities and green spaces, designed to cater to all ages and interests.

Officially opened on 15 April, the parklands feature a café, fully fenced playground for toddlers and primary school-aged children, water play areas with water pumps, barbecues, picnic tables and shelters, an events lawn for large community events, sports areas for kickabout games, an outdoor gym prioritising accessibility, scooter and bike tracks, fenced dog off-leash areas, and more.

JMac Constructions General Manager Jason Lindsay said JMac was pleased to contribute its trusted expertise to delivering this valuable addition to the community.

“The successful delivery of the Robina Greenheart – Stage 1 project showcases our ability to deliver complex community infrastructure through strong collaboration with our clients and partners,” Mr Lindsay said.

“This is a piece of community infrastructure that will enhance the great lifestyle offering the Gold Coast is renowned for, and its early completion in time for the school holidays is a testament to our team’s capability, strong stakeholder engagement, and commitment to high-quality outcomes.

“It’s fantastic to see the space already being enjoyed by the Robina and broader Gold Coast community, and to have delivered a future-focused space that will serve the region for years to come.”

The Robina Greenheart – Stage 1 is the most significant parkland redevelopment the City of Gold Coast has undertaken in years, and once subsequent stages are complete, the 257-hectare Greenheart site will be the largest parkland on the Gold Coast.
