Construction Manager
About the Role
JMAC Constructions have an opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager to join the team in Townsville, to oversee and deliver new opportunities for the region between Mackay and Cairns.
- Based at JMAC Constructions’ office in Townsville, with regular travel to projects within the Mackay to Cairns region.
- Be part of a high performing team and work alongside the industry’s top performers in the delivery of public and private landscape construction and sporting facility projects.
- As an experienced Construction Manager, you will form part of JMAC Constructions’ core leadership group and manage successful project teams through the demonstration of your excellent communication and leadership skills. A thorough understanding of BMD’s occupational health, safety and environmental requirements will assist your project teams to achieve our Zero Harm goal.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A thorough knowledge of the drawings, specifications and quality requirements for landscape constructions site related activities.
- Experience in a similar position in Landscaping and Building.
- Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and cost reporting software.
- Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management OR a Trade Background.
