Fairfield Waters is a master planned residential community located on 2km of the Ross River. The estate is one of the largest developments in Townsville and offers inner-city convenience coupled with a community environment and lush surrounds. JMAC was engaged to undertake a fully landscaped edge around the 20 hectare manmade lake within the estate. Working in such close proximity to the lake meant that erosion control was a high priority to ensure that silt and debris did not affect the lake pumps at any time. The contract also incorporated footpaths, rock work, irrigation, shelters and planting.
